Lori Alhadeff is an active mom, a former teacher and a school safety advocate who has served on the Broward County School Board since winning election in 2018. After her daughter Alyssa was murdered at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Lori put her background as an educator and a coach to work for our community. During her time in office, she has fought to make sure that Broward County Public Schools provide children with a safe learning environment; attract and maintain top-notch teachers; properly and responsibly manage its education budget; and hold leadership accountable. Lori is committed to making our Broward County Public Schools the best in all of Florida.
